The Ferrocampus association, based in Saintes, Charente-Maritime, is a centre of excellence for the railway industry in various aspects: training in railway trades, the attractiveness of the sector or innovation and the experimentation of new solutions for the train of the future.

Ferrocampus thus seeks to unite the railway players around structuring projects, such as specific training courses of the CAP at bac+5, major research and development projects such as the Innovative Light Rail, or events to boost the industry such as the Ferrocampus'Days.

The Association Ferroviaire Française des Ingénieurs et Cadres (French Railway Association of Engineers and Executives) aims to bring together all engineers and executives in the public or private sector who are or have been active in the various railway fields.
AFFI offers its members a place to meet, discover and exchange ideas, as well as the opportunity for ongoing personal enrichment through the cross-fertilization of knowledge between different railway disciplines. It regularly offers its 300-plus members - students, working or retired people, professionals - technical visits to construction sites, operational and industrial sites, as well as conferences and other informal exchanges.
